My experience at Shaffner House was a buffet for 30. We were served copious amounts of appetizers: stuffed mushrooms and grilled teriyaki shrimp. The salad was mixed greens, walnuts, croutons, bleu cheese and a light vinaigrette. The side dishes were green beans w/pimiento and garlic and garlic mashed potatoes. The entrees were filet mignon and roast turkey breast. Dessert was chocolate cake with a chocolate sauce topping.
The appetizers were plentiful and very tasty. The filet was tender, moist and not overcooked. I did not sample the turkey.
