I often go to the 4Way with female friends We have never had a problem. The staff is friendly to all. Good home cooking. They work with you on changing sides, or whatever. They refill my hot tea frequently. No complaints here.

I have been going there off and on since college. They are usually very busy and the food is great. It is always cooked to order and fresh. You cannot beat the cost either. It is by far one of the best "down-home" style restaurants in Winston.

The 1 star review sounds like someone who is in the restaurant business and trying to tarnish and degrade public opinion of other restaurants. The fact that they do not speak good english could have been a factor in their experience. I have found that just about everything in that rant is false.

5 STARS!!!!!!

The "1-Star or Poor Review" indicated on this website is a duplicate of a bad review of another restaurant review (on Paul's Italian Restaurant's website), which is FALSE, as well. Both of these restaurants are fine, reputable restaurants in Winston-Salem, and both have great service and wonderful food. Someone apparently has too much time of their hands.

i not go back. the cashier/hostesses,waitresses all rude to female tables.only nices to tables with males and children. the cashier/hostesses,waitresses will not volunteer to wait on female tables,walk away from females while talking to them,not come back without explination,talk rude,interrupt while female talking to them,give rude looks,not say much,not volunteer to talk to them.also management sees them. not do anything about it. the cashiers wait on two people at a time. not say much to the female paying guests.the waitresses will not volunteer to write down order,give food,drink and bill,not come back to see if anything need at table,know food or drink order is wrong,not do anything about it. and food crumbs are brushed off the table. and left on the floor. females have to ask restaurant staff to clean up tables.females have to ask waitress and cashiers/hostesses to do jobs. and females get out of seat at table. to ask the waitresses to come back to table. the employees complain management rude.and low tips to customers,complain. waitresses tell females not want to write down order,not a job description. service is slow to female tables,not busy
