We are currently seeking qualified Mainframe Programmer Analysts for excellent contract opportunities in the Wilkesboro, NC area.



These projects are expected to last 12+ months with the very high liklihood of long-term contract extension.



The Mainframe Programmer Analyst will be working with COBOL, COBOL II, DB2 and JCL to develop and support DB2 database applications running in an MVS environment.



Additional responsibilities will include developing unit and system test plans as well as performing unit and system testing of applications.



These positions require excellent programming skills in COBOL, DB2, and JCL as well as experience with relational databases and SQL. Experience supporting PeopleSoft (Application Engine, SQR, PeopleTools) or other packaged software (Lawson, SAP, Oracle) is highly preferred.



The ideal candidates should have strong experience with full cycle Mainframe application development along with a good understanding of both packaged software and custom-built applications.
