BOOKMARKS 2007, WINSTON-SALEM'S FESTIVAL OF BOOKS
The festival will be held Saturday, September 8 from 9:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Historic Bethabara Park, 2147 Bethabara Road, Winston-Salem. Free.
About the festival:
Authors and activities for adults, teens & youth, and young children. There will be reading related activities all day provided by: SciWorks, YMCA Literacy Initiative, Smart Start of Forsyth County, The Children's Museum of Winston-Salem, the Children's Theatre of Winston-Salem, and The Forsyth County Library... and more! Featured authors will include Elizabeth Edwards, Amy Sedaris, a VeggieTales writer, and many more.
Volunteers are needed for preparation work as well as the day of the event. Responsibilities can include Author Attendant, Site Restoration, Flyer and Poster Distribution, Tent Attendents, And much, much more....
